Bas-Relief
I Walsoken produced this 3d collograph from the A1 observation drawings we had done of our sculptures. I used cardboard, stings and fabric to make my design. After I was happy with the finished design I moved on to Painting it using 3 colours but various shades.
Collograph and Monoprinting
Collograph
This is the collograph I designed using cardboard, fabric and string. I designed this collograph from my groups finished sculpture.
I them moved on to using my collograph to design different prints.
Monoprinting
After these prints on plain and coloured paper, I then moved on to doing some Monoprinting and I also produced one revers Monoprint.
Once I had explored broth Collograph and Monoprinting, I then decidedelete to experiment further with ink and combing both methods of printing together.

10x A1 Drawings
These drawings are all observational from the build we previously done. I have drawn from my own structure and others.
TONE DRAWINGS
This piece was produced using chalk. I placed a checked matt on top of the piece to make the piece more aesthetically pleasing. I chose to leave fin gap between the checked work to bring a lighter tone.
TEXTURE DRAWINGS
I used various materials including rolled up paper, brown tape, Chalk, black wool and black paper. I produced this by looking at another groups shelter who had used these materials.
LINE DRAWINGS
For this line drawi, I used charcoal and wool to produce lines and tone. I have used grey and green wool to create lines and add lined tone to the observational piece. The wool has been placed on top on the charcoal lines to figure a more bold appearance.
PERSPECTIVE DRAWINGS
The drawing on the left is done in the media biro pen. I really tried to concentrate on tone and perspective as I drew this piece. This was my first attempt as perspective and I feel it went very well.
The one on the right has been done in pencil. I was trying to experiment with cross hatching and still concentrating on perspective. I feel it did not go as well as the one on the left.
SHAPE DRAWINGS
This drawing was produced using chalk and also using black paper. The black paper was used for the darkest areas and the Chalk was used to create the formation and shape.
TONE DRAWINGS
This piece was produced using chalk. I placed a checked matt on top of the piece to make the piece more aesthetically pleasing. I chose to leave fin gap between the checked work to bring a lighter tone.
I produced this drawing with the medium oil pastels. I decided to experiment as I have hardly used this medium before, I feel I was very successful and ,an aged to capture the tones and shades within the sculpture.
TEXTURE DRAWINGS
I used various materials including rolled up paper, brown tape, Chalk, black wool and black paper. I produced this by looking at another groups shelter who had used these materials.
This us a mixed media piece using brown paper, newspaper and charcoal. Although this is one piece if paper, it consists of three different area's/angles of my structure. I used the paper to build the mail sections of the structure and then added loose charcoal lines to create form.
LINE DRAWINGS
For this line drawi, I used charcoal and wool to produce lines and tone. I have used grey and green wool to create lines and add lined tone to the observational piece. The wool has been placed on top on the charcoal lines to figure a more bold appearance.
This is a simple line drawing from a structure using charcoal. It has very little detail and also has slight shading.
I feel this is my best outcome of perspective. I feel i manged to grasp it very well using the media charcoal. This was an observational drawing of another groups structure.
SHAPE DRAWINGS
This drawing was produced using chalk and also using black paper. The black paper was used for the darkest areas and the Chalk was used to create the formation and shape.
This was a drawing sone of the feather of my structure using chalk. I feel like this was the weakest piece of work.
